The road to reform just began with the arrival of the 3rd Turkish ship along with big bags of cash.
Before you talk about fighting corruption tell us what happened to the law suit filed by Bassil against a TV presenter (who was a member of the FPM too) for defamation after the TV presenter produced live the deeds to more than 20 properties that belong to Bassil in the Byblos area alone worth more than $20 million.
Let me tell you what happened. Bassil lost the law suit and the TV presenter was fired from the FPM in retaliation.
Never has Lebanon known or seen a president who is intent on fighting corruption as much as this one, ever!
I've heard tat song before of fighting corruption since 2005. But Mr. President you have a MOU with a fanatical terror group, who on the face of things looks the most cleanest of all parties but deep down they are as corrupt as any. You re elected the head of parliament whose been there for 30 years, who is the epitome of corruption, and now you come tell us you want to root out corruption?
