FPM Denies Bassil Pushing to Name Aoun Adviser as PM

The Free Patriotic Movement on Monday denied a media report that claimed that FPM chief Jebran Bassil is seeking the nomination of an adviser to President Michel Aoun for the PM-designate post.

In a statement, the FPM’s media department said it “categorically denies” a report in the Nidaa al-Watan daily that alleged that Bassil was “promoting the name of Mr. Fadi Assli,” the President’s adviser for Gulf affairs.

The media department also said that the FPM chief is not trying to promote “any other name.”

The newspaper reported Monday that Bassil has raised Assli’s name with Hizbullah and that the Iran-backed party told him that it “prefers not to rush to the confrontation choice.”

I wonder if this adviser to the president is as smart as the in-law Smurf with glasses.

This guy with eyeglasses looks like someone with down syndrome. This is how low the quality of this party deputies are, so that Basil, who is stupid, could shine amongst them. How low could Lebanon fall.
