Tanks Storm District in Syria's Homs

Tanks stormed a neighborhood in the flashpoint Syrian central city of Homs as soldiers launched a house-to-house sweep of the area to crush regime opponents on Friday, activists said.

"The tanks entered the neighborhood of Inshaat overnight," said Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

He said troops were still deploying to the area early Friday.

Inshaat is next to the protest hub of Baba Amr in Homs, which has been wilting under a sustained week-long assault by regime forces that has killed more than 400 people, activists say.

I fail to see the strategy of bombing civilian areas. What are they expecting?

i guess for you that the women and children killed were terrorists soldiers and the syrian army killed them to defend themselves... how weak must they be then to fear women and children :)
what do you do with all the testimonies of syrians wounded by their own regime?
what do you do with the shelling of civilian homes in homs? all military targets?
should the lebanese army do the same if ever people demonstrate against the gvt? shell tripoli? shell saida? shell dahiye? it seems it is the system of governance you love!
you are so funny!

i do have to agree with mowaten that these so called fighters are making all the trouble but it is what the syrian people deserve for the 30 years of killings kidnappings and raping they caused the lebanese so i dont care who started it first as long as they burn syria to the ground.
