Nasrallah slams those focusing on losses, turning blind eye to resistance wins
Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has praised the resistance of Hamas and the Palestinians in a recorded televised speech during an early celebration of Quds day.
Nasrallah said that some are focusing on the losses and ignoring the resistance's achievements.
"We are working to win this war and to defeat our enemy," Nasrallah said after recorded comments from Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh.
Nasrallah praised the "resistance fronts" in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq, the "supportive Iranian fronts", and the protesters supporting Gaza around the world.
Since the outbreak of the war in Gaza nearly six months ago, Hezbollah has stepped up attacks, leading to near daily cross-border exchanges between Hezbollah and Israel.
Hezbollah, which has a powerful arsenal of rockets and missiles, says its attacks on Israel are in support of the embattled residents in Gaza and Hamas.
Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels have also repeatedly targeted international shipping and U.S. forces in the Red Sea in recent months in what they portray as a blockade of Israel in response to the war in Gaza.
Clutching at straws, LOL. This reminds me of fotball coaches that after a 0-5 loss claim that their side were the better. At the end of this war he will for sure declare another "divine" victory, and the martyrs will get an extra banner with their pic and name on. Perhaps Iran will throw a few extra dollars to the grieving families, who in turn will praise Nasrallah and give him more sons to throw into the meat grinder next time.
Yeah, what he said! You're nothing but a bunch of ingrates, all of you! Where are the celebrations at hassin and resistance fronts victories. Somebody quick organise a ticker tape parade, complete with a marching band (what is left of the Radwan brigade), bolt hassin into the back of a convertible top stretch limo going down the Hadi Nasrallah boulevard, then up the Hadi Nasrallah avenue, then over to the Hadi Nasrallah turnpike, thru the Hadi Nasrallah roundabout, to the Hadi Nasrallah central square; have hassin wave at the adoring crowds as he passes by, and they're throwing roses and rice at him (you know like his people threw roses and rice at the Israeli tanks when the Israeli army invaded south Lebanon).
This silly speech reminds me of the English football supporters funny, sarcastic and ironic chants. Their team is losing 5-0 and there's two minutes left in the game, the fans break into "6-5, we're gonna win 6-5, we're gonna win 6-5!".
