Thumb primesuspect 20 February 2012, 12:53

Mowaten: where did you read accusations? Can't you distinguish a statement from a question!? Go back to school, finish your education and come back here when you're done.

benzona couldn't agree more with you BUT why waste your breath? the erudite people in this country are a minority and that's why this country will never change.

Thumb jabalamel 20 February 2012, 14:50

the filthy zionist media slimy scum uses every chance to spread sectarian hate.

Thumb jabalamel 20 February 2012, 16:37

the filthy zionist media terrorists still pushes the sectarian issue, while you couldn't see him condemn shooting in trablus over the fish in the market

Missing neni 20 February 2012, 16:46

Unbelievable how every story turns into a sectarian fight. I would be more worried about the fact that one of the few good things left in Lebanon i.e. low crime, seems to be disappearing fast! Maybe people should stop playing with their BB's and iphones and start facing the mountain of troubles Lebanon has and maybe just maybe even bother to try and do something constructive about it...

Your comment is falling on deaf ears. This place is not to share views intellectually, just to attack each other, and say things you cannot say in person.

Thumb primesuspect 20 February 2012, 18:39

Then why are you here? ;-)

Lebanon is not the only place where crime like this happens... last month me and my boyfriend where in London, which is supposed to be a safe city.
3 guys attacked us. They stole our camera, money, cellphone... they beat up my bf for nothing... they didn't beat me but when they 2 guys where beating my bf the 3rd guy was holding my hands behind my back very strongly and twisting them as if he wanted to break them... it was very painful and my hands are still hurting till now.. so even in civilized London there are violent people and criminals, not only in Lebanon.

Thumb primesuspect 20 February 2012, 19:47

Being a former Londoner I wonder in which neighborhood you were. I spent almost six years there and nothing ever happened to me or to my then gf. Obviously, I wasn't in brixton... To me, some areas of Beirut are way more dangerous.

Thumb jcamerican 21 February 2012, 09:30

I am sure these guys were Lebanese, and they followed you from Lebanon.

Since this happened in Southern Beirut, Lebanon, the STL should investigate this.

Default-user-icon simsima (Guest) 20 February 2012, 22:40

which areas are dangerous in Beirut?

Default-user-icon Paul (Guest) 21 February 2012, 01:20

Re Dina
Of course London is a dangerous place. The British have had a far too liberal immigration policy for many years, and now they are paying the price. Not saying that all of the criminals are non-British ethnically, the history of Australia shows that Great Britain has had their share. Even so, my bet would be that those that attacked you had a different cultural background
