Murr Meets Tashnag Delegation: We Restored Our Historic Relation

Tashnag Party MP Hagop Pakradounian on Thursday stressed that the relation between his party and MP Michel Murr was more than a mere political alliance, describing it as a “deep friendship at the national and political levels.”
For his part, Murr noted that the relation “went through some bumps” during the 2009 parliamentary elections, describing the rift as “a summer’s day cloud.”
Following talks with a Tashnag delegation comprising Pakradounian, head of the executive committee Hovik Mikhtarian and executive committee member Mardik Boghossian, Murr said the meeting “tackled essential topics, whether at the Lebanese domestic level or concerning the developments in the region and their repercussions on the Lebanese arena, and it was a normal thing to evaluate the developments around us.”
“The long-running relation that began in 1960 has always been a brotherly, familial and political one and we had the same stances during the political and electoral occasions,” Murr added.
“The cloud has passed and it was not the result of the party’s will or their own decision, but rather the result of external pressures exerted on the party at more than one level,” the MP noted. “But we know that their hearts were with us and that the relation was never severed, and anyhow we have overcome today the past events,” he added.
Murr said the Tashnag delegation “admitted to committing mistakes,” noting that he discussed the issue of the 2013 parliamentary elections with his visitors but not the possible alliances.
“We have triumphed over the past and restored our historic relation, and when the time comes to raise political issues and other topics we will speak with one voice,” the veteran lawmaker added.
Pakradounian said the delegation visited Murr to stress the importance of the bilateral relation “regardless of the small details.”
“The objective is to give emphasis to this continuous cooperation, solid relation and friendship through unified political action and stances, in order to reassure people and the country, especially (Northern) Metn residents, that the relation is still the same, whether in politics or in other issues,” Pakradounian added.

Tashnag delegation "admitted to committing mistakes"??? If Tashnags were REALLY SINCERE in their admittance, then we have to acknowledge that they have come a looooooong way. Except that how will they explain this "admitting" to Mr. Nasrallah??

Everybody is letting the crazy general down. Of course, since Tashnag were their allies, they seem to have completely forgot them. No minister, not even 3 MPS... and they saw what happened to Issam Abou Jamra, Fares Karam, Nahhas. They clearly dont want to be next. Many FPM officials will leave soon. He is not giving them anything , only to his demanted son-in-law, gebran Imbassil.

I wonder how could Abou Elias Trust again the Tachnag after Last election, knowing that Mr. Murr was always a great help to the Armenian community in all means , while he was in power ,,
As for the Tachnag for me they are Similar to Hezbollah,, receiving orders from Abroad ( Los Angeles )seeing what happen after the guethering in Iran Tachnag cadres orders came to align the Arminian voters with the Aoun,Huzbollah axes

lubnan awalan@ plz if u don't know the structure of tashnag (ARF) then don't taln about it, from when the tashnaq took dicisions from abroad, if they get orders from los angelos then they have allied with march 14, besides at least tashnag doesn't get orders from the gulf states or turkey

Tashnag are after their own interests, Aoun gave them more seats and more of a say than the oppposite side (Murr and others) did in the past so they went with him. It's politics.
