Israeli Defense Official Warns of 45,000 Missiles Accumulated by ‘Hizbullastan’

Hizbullah has accumulated 45,000 missiles that pose a threat to Israel, a senior defense ministry official has said, claiming that Iran and Syria supplied the missiles to the party through ships, planes and trains.
The Israeli defense ministry’s director of policy and political-military affairs, Amos Gilad, told the Kuwaiti newspaper al-Rai over the weekend that Lebanon's leaders are unaware of these developments, creating a vacuum that has given rise to a new, independent entity he dubbed "Hizbullastan."
President Michel Suleiman, Speaker Nabih Berri and Premier Najib Miqati “know nothing about what’s going on in the country in which they are living,” he said.
Gilad expressed confidence in the protesters in Syria, saying they will eventually compel President Bashar Assad to stop the violence, which has so far claimed around 7,600 lives, and implement reform.
He added that the Jewish state would have signed a peace deal with Syria, “if it weren't for Damascus' cooperation with terror groups.”

Correct me if I'm wrong. does anyone in Lebanon as an illusion that all the 45,000 missiles and rockets are for the destruction of Israel? well you are wrong. big part of it is for the free Lebanese Christian, Druze and other minorities.
As Hezballa will start targeting Israel from Lebanese soil, i'm sure there will be many casualties from Israeli side but Lebanon will return to the stone age.
Israel might suffer from heavy damage in infrastracture but hope you are aware that Israeli people are much more sheltered with bunkers, safe rooms and other protection means like gas masks etc.
Many of us would suggest Lebanon to remain calm and nobody will get hurt.
Live and let live this is best solution to our area.

The biggest supporter of Hizbullah is Israel
After M14 took power in 2005, the Lebanese gov asked for military assistance, so that Lebanese army can assume it's role as sole defender of the country. The US, France, Germany, Belgium and Arab states all promised to provide tanks, planes and other heavy equipments. Israel frantically sent defense minister and prime minister to each of the US Russia and European countries asking them not to deliver on their promise, so they ended up sending spare parts, munition, logistical equipment and other light weapons.
Israel thus achieved its goal of keeping the M14 gov weak in front of Hizbullah, Hizbullah so that and took power by force.
Now Israel can attack Lebanon at will saying there is no Lebanon but Hizbalistan

And what makes you think they care so much about the palestinian cause? Its the shiite cause that is their main concern. The shia in lebanon were non-religious for a long time, until the 70:s when iran sent moussa sadr to start his work with shiites, they (lebanese shiites who had lived and studied in iran) founded amal and after that hezballah (which was founded by former amal leaders). The Palestinian cause is just an excuse to them. In 2006, when the zionazis were bombing the gaza strip, hezballah decided it would be a good opportunity to take israeli hostages because they thought israel would be too busy in the south. They did not expect the israeli attack nor were they trying to help out anyone. So dont confuse hijacking a cause for selfish reasons, with caring about it.

Everybody knows that Israel is a hostile country and could never be befriended or trusted. They do have a problem with the Palestinians and they have to solve it amongst themselves. Lebanon’s involvement in this crisis has cost us so far 200K dead and many handicapped along with more than 90% of our independence fighting amongst us like crazy people. Palestinian crisis is simply not ours like the most of the Arab countries do while enhancing their economies. Only we the Lebanese who claim to be more rational and educated than the Arabs fight a losing war that destroys us. While more educated than the Arabs, we are more stupid than them.
