Geagea: Assassins Will Not Affect our Determination
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةLebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea stated on Saturday that the failed assassination attempt against him will not intimidate the party, announced the LF in a statement on Sunday.
He said: “The criminals must be assured that their attempt will not affect our determination.”
He made his statements during a ceremony in Zahleh Saturday held in celebration of his survival of the attempt on his life.
Geagea continued: “Those who survived the civil war, persecution, arrests, and solitary confinement for 11 years will not be deterred by a few bullets.”
“We will persevere to achieve a free, sovereign, and independent Lebanon,” he stressed.
On Wednesday, the LF chief was the victim of a failed sniper attack while he was taking a walk on the grounds of his Maarab residence.
just a thought , we have heard a wide range of reactions to the failed assassination attempt we heard from condemnation to so called the resistant calling it over reaction and fabrication but we have not heard from the general !! does that constitute guilty conscience? because his silence is deafening !. either way it shows what kind of a person he is , a low life self serving . before you become a good leader you need to genuinely care about others and wanted to do the best for your country . i guess we can rule out the general to be in that category .
happy easter to all
and to you ya hakim
btw did you tell the people of zahle that during the battle of zahle with the syrians you called your fighters back and refused to wage war against the syrians and to defend zahle
God bless you Hakim. You are the one of the few leaders that never betrayed Lebanon and its martyrs. We are here to stay!!!
And what determination is this now? To keep predicting stupidities or making lame jokes that the Lebanese Takfiri Forces laugh at and clap like the retards that they are?
keserweneh, what about hariri, hamadeh, tweini, ghanem, around half a dozen if gemayels etc..
you people will always dig up the civil war era,!!! if it wasn't for the LF the harissa statue wouldn't be standing tall in keserwen right now..
PS: geagea had nothing to do with dany chamoun's assassination, your syrian allies killed him.
@ keserweneh, too bad Rafic Hariri, Bassel fleihan, Pierre Gemayel, Gebran tueni, Wissam Eid, Samir Qassir, Walid Eido, didnt even got to smell their own flesh for a few moments before their death when your newly fond syrian friends exploded them into pieces during non civil war times and you still managed to get SSNP ministers in your tayyar and in your new amazing governement :). Dont get me wrong , im not siding with geagea but be faire ,By the way, yes RIP Dany and Tony, but to hell with Rashid. He divide the lebanese army this traitor and protect the palestinian assaults and pushed the sunnis against the christians. So i am very pleased with the thousand of pieces he had become after an RPG exploded him straight to hell :)
Geagea has been milking the Christians Lebanese for far too long, all his actions and policies have proven disastrous and rendered the unity among Christians an impossible feat
Nothing left but to retire..
Take the hint..
you can all say what you like about geagea you all have a right to your opoinon, but let me give you one of mine.
You all can dream to have the courage as geagea has,he does not run in the middle of the night and leaves his family behind!he stays and faces his enemies and doesnt hide in a HOLE like a rat.Your Allah is coming and he anit coming to save you devil woreshippers.
as an independent thinker; not being a follower sheep of any leader, i would say there is no need to kill geagea as there is no way he can run from God on judgment day...a person who killed people from all religions and ethnicities regardless of the reason because there is never a reason that justifies the killing of a human being in maximum brutality will have no escape....
