The Saudi Embassy in Lebanon denied on Friday that it asked its nationals that are currently present in the country to leave by the end of June.

"The report, which was published in a Lebanese newspaper, is completely false,” the embassy said in a statement.

It urged all media outlets to act responsibly as publishing reports like these would “create chaos and scare the citizens and tourists,” the statement added.

The embassy asked all media outlets not to hesitate to contact it to confirm any information or report before publishing it.

“We are keen to preserve the interests of (Lebanon),” the statement added.

The daily reported on Friday the Saudi Embassy in Lebanon asked its nationals to leave it by the end of June.

According to the daily, the embassy contacted several nationals informing them about the decision.

“Those who will not abide by the embassy’s decision can remain (in Lebanon) on their own responsibility,” the embassy said.

Saudi Arabia had previously warned its citizens in Lebanon from heading to the areas that are witnessing unrest in Lebanon, urging them not to use cars holding Saudi license plates.

Lebanon has witnessed recently several security incidents in the northern city of Tripoli, in the Nahr al-Bared and Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camps and along the Lebanese-Syrian border.

The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain have also advised their citizens to avoid travel to Lebanon and urged their nationals currently present in the country to leave due to the unstable security situation.

for the sceptics like FT: this is the last warning that war is imminent.
we need to realize that, and suffer the consequences of its devastation as it will cover most of Lebanon this time round.

mon estime (pas difficile ceci dit) lol.

Pour en revenir à l'article, la guerre psychologique est officiellement déclarée. Il faut espérer que ça a restera là.

I do not want war for sre, but the current stances held by hizbushaitn are dragging us into it.
the war will be with israel and it is going to be really major to a point all previous ones combined would not amount to half of what wwill happen this time unfortunately. and I really mean it.

Sources informed LBC that the report published in al-Akhbar newspaper is completely false.

but of course every report published in al-Akhbar newspaper is completely false! After all wasn't al-Akhbar created in 2006 to be the purveyor of fabricated false information and all out lies? Even their own correspondents think so.

I don't know about KSA but normally and embassy don't "Ask" it's citizen to do anything, let alone "go back home", it just advises.

No1 wants to help. and not 1 politician has a goal in site fore a better lebanon. first things first, make ahzeb illegal in all of lebanon. give the army the power to inforce the law with a iron fist.make gun laws very tight.get caught with a gun, 1 year imprisonment no ifs or buts, dosnt matter who you are. put a big no to WAR in the media and in school's, no more religious divisions.politicians are public servants, not the other way around.

But with faith everything is possible. we need to build a organisation. away from the bagging of each other.everywhere you go its the same old borring stupid story of us occupying all are time by telling the other what his faults are.lets start fresh,i dont know how but we should all start talking about it.and dosnt matter what part of leb you are from,i think everyone like us will agree with this fresh start.if the young change, then the older will have no alternative but to follow. stop hating eachother is the first step, and that starts with us.
