Report: Lebanese-Austrian Woman Goes Missing in Lebanon
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةSecurity forces are searching for a Lebanese-Austrian woman who was reportedly kidnapped after arriving in Lebanon on Monday, media reports said.
The National News Agency reported that the Baabda police station received a phone call on Tuesday on the 112 emergency hotline from mobile number 78-881299 in which a woman, who identified herself as Maria Sadeq, claimed she was kidnapped and assaulted by two people.
The woman said she didn’t know her whereabouts but believed she is held at the house of her kidnappers who were in the next room.
Security forces have so far failed to identify her location over their inability to access the telecom data which has created controversy in Lebanon.
But the case has been referred to the Internal Security forces General Directorate to ask for the telecom data and investigate whether the woman’s claims are true.
The interior ministry said earlier this month that only the competent judicial committee decides whether security agencies can obtain the information on telecommunication records.
Thank you 8 March for this
freaking unsecure ugly threatening situation. i hope your followers (who are definitely blind) would one day wake up and stop believing your trash talking
That's very professional of our security forces. Now the kidnappers are going to take her phone and god knows what. Its a shame that such basic error are made in cases where people's lives are hanging on the balance!!!!!
King .Burger you are correct that fake resistance are the problem ,all Lebanese must unite agianst the so called Irianian resistance what a bunch of scum..
Who wants to be that the kidnappers are Shi'ites? Those behind such abductions are also behind luxury car thefts in Lebanon and are usually armed by rogue hezbollahi militiamen.
Gibran said a 100 yeara ago: "you have your Lebanon and I have mine". Can anybody tell me what changed since then?
I swear, if Naharnet posted an article about a cat falling from a tree, you'd see political blame in the comments.
