Hariri Holds 'Positive' Talks with Geagea in Jeddah
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe meeting held between ex-Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea was described as “serious” and “positive,” sources close to the officials told An Nahar newspaper on Wednesday.
Geagea, who is currently in Saudi Arabia to meet senior officials, discussed on Tuesday with Hariri the latest developments in the region, in particular, the impact of the turmoil in Syria on Lebanon and the 2013 parliamentary elections.
The meeting between the two officials lasted for two-and-a-half hours at Hariri's residence in Jeddah.
The two voiced their agreement over the broad national issues and the challenges facing the country, stressing the ongoing alliance among the March 14 camp.
The Lebanese political foes are currently discussing a new electoral law to be adopted during the 2013 polls as the cabinet's draft law calls for dividing Lebanon into 13 medium-sized districts based on proportionality, while a plan suggested by Free Patriotic Movement chief Michel Aoun’s Change and Reform bloc allows every sect to elect its own MPs under a proportional representation system with Lebanon as a single district.
The opposition's proposal made by MPs George Adwan, Sami Gemayel and Butros Harb supports the formation of 50 small-sized districts in a winner-takes-all system.
This is on way of proving the theory that negative times negative equals positive. However, in this case, the positive is in the combined number of retards who have an orgy over the two biggest losers. One has to admit, though, that these two losers are geniuses considering that they never fail to impress growing numbers of pathetic retards. mabrouk to you, retards.
