إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe army began deploying in the Bekaa region on Wednesday as part of a security plan to combat lawlessness in the area, reported the National News Agency.
It said that the deployment began at 3:00 a.m. where soldiers began taking up positions at intersections and roads leading to towns.
They set up checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the town of Brital and deployed in the region of Hourtaala farther east.
In addition, it set up checkpoints in the outskirts of the Sharawinah town in the Baalbek province and spread its presence towards the center of the area.
This deployment was accompanied with raids in Dar al-Wasiaa and Sharwinah.
Speaker Nabih Berri stressed on Monday the importance of the security plan in order to end the security chaos in the Bekaa, which has been marred with instability and a series of kidnappings.
Increasing crime, thefts and abductions in the Bekaa have intensified in the past year, although the state institutions have launched a number of campaigns to combat the trend.
The army recently launched a crackdown on assailants in Beirut's southern suburbs and several other areas in an attempt to halt a kidnapping spree of several businessmen and numerous bank robberies.
Amal and Hezb Iran are worried now ,the FSA is coming after them so now they want the army to clean their mess.
so halla heyk tel3et ma3ak?they are afraid of some millitias?loool ur funny man look at the pic and not the frame.they say hizb in syria fighting with bashar there closest alie ,whats wrong with that.if saudi or qatar come and fight with FSA,will that be wrong?bashar is in syria even if it takes to kill 90 percent of syrian opposition dont u see that?as long as Russia exist bashar will be in syria
Why only select thieves and abductors? Didn't Amal and Hezbollah make it official they kidnapped people? HA is also a terrorist organisation, the army should focus on them as much as they focus on the Bekaa low-lives
Hezbollah still kidnaps people .. And please stop defending Hezbollah at every criticism it makes u look like ur in bed with nass
"but the war is behind us, unless u r still living in its mindset"

So according to you The United States (a super power), the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada are the 2.5% elite? Is that supposed to be an insult? An observation? What exactly do you mean?
the1phoenix: "...dipped in the hot soup" I've been reading your dispensation of your so called political analysis for a while. Much to my shock and dismay, you come across as patronizing towards some like FT when it is convenient for you and when trying to mask your obvious bias, an extremist Christian at other times and your logic and poor English combine to make what you have to say as inferior fodder.
This is a trap for the army. Syria and the Hezz will attack them and blame the FSA in order to try and drag Lebanon into the war.
Trablus & Akkar is Lebanese, just like any other Lebanese town.
If they feel they need to fight for Syria cause its Their cause, these specific individuals, must pick themselves up and leave to Syria, and don't bother coming back!
Though I don't believe this, it dosen't take much to realize its a privilege being Lebanese, and what we have in Lebanon & lifestyle, our freedom (except the massive construction that is killing our scenery and lovely greenery).
In Lebanon, There is a very good educational system (even if its expensive), Lebanese can exercise what they wish socially, we party openly, and can be whoever they want to be, and if some can't career-wise, they expatriate, that is also part of our fate.
