The recent meeting for the March 14 forces that was held at the Maarab residence of Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on Saturday reached an agreement on a number of political issues and steps that they will undertake during the upcoming phase in Lebanon, reported the daily An Nahar on Tuesday.

It said that a statement listing the principles and issues they agreed upon will be issued within days or this week.

Informed sources told al-Joumhouria newspaper in remarks published on Tuesday that the March 14 forces agreed on toppling the government, not backing down on this demand, working on overthrowing it through all possible democratic means, granting President Michel Suleiman the necessary time to hold political consultations, and boycotting the joint parliamentary committees.

An Nahar said that the core of the March 14 camp's political statement will be based on Mustaqbal bloc leader MP Fouad Saniora's speech during the funeral of Internal Security Forces Intelligence Bureau head Brigadier General Wissam al-Hasan on October 21.

He held the government responsible for the his death seeing as it is formed of pro-Syria forces and the March 14-led opposition has accused Syria of the crime.

Hasan was killed in a car bomb on October 19 in Beirut's Ashrafiyeh neighborhood.

The Phalange Party politburo echoed on Monday Saniora's demand by calling for the resignation of the government and the formation of a salvation one.

It also called for adopting the Baabda Declaration as the basis of the new cabinet's ministerial statement.

The Declaration was reached during the first national dialogue session that was held in June after a 19-month absence.

The Declaration, issued on June 11, calls for political and media calm in Lebanon, supporting the army, and keeping Lebanon away from regional and international disputes.

Phalange circles told An Nahar however that some differences remain among the March 14 powers over completely boycotting parliament work.

The head of the party, Amin Gemayel, considered the boycott unconstitutional if it includes Suleiman and his efforts to resume the national dialogue.

The March 14 camp had announced a boycott of all government activity, including the national dialogue that includes members of the cabinet.

We're are proud to Arabs and Wahhabis, this is our heritage and we don't reject as your hezbshaytan does. This evil party is the biggest cancer for Lebanon which must be eradicated from our country forever. Your hezbshaytan must leave and go back to Khomeini land

I remember my friends use to say, get Syria out, then Lebanon problems are gone. Now get HA out and our problems will be gone.

Well my opinions is getting all the lebanese out, would be the best solution for Lebanon. Lebanese people fight even outside of their country. Any lebanese gathering turns into a battlefield.

Karim, we need to elevate the debate so something good come out of it. We need to stop addressing accusations and insults which only leads to increasing the division among us lebanese

Totally agree. I am not so much worried about Bachar, but what will come out next.

Resolutely against any tyrannic regime especially that of the Assads' which made us and still making us offer, I am afraid that Isalmic fundamentalist rule Syria. That would be a disaster for the Syrians and for the Lebanese.

I am also afraid that some lebanese Sunnis especially in the north may join forces to those fundamentalist to gain political power in Lebanon and take their revenge from HA and Aoun.

Hey, March 14, I do not know why your leaders do not release statements more frequently! Please demand that they issue them every other hour as these should raise your chances of success by ten-fold if not more. Believe me. They should keep coming in a crescendo of stronger, more insulting and divisive expressions until the Wilayat al-Faqihers, the forces of backwardness and the black magic evil doers are pulverized, just like a high-pitched sound shatter amd pulverizes glass and crystal! You go to your leaders now, my compatriots, and stay there until they move their big fat you know what! Enough laziness already. Don't they see how the land of the Phoenicians is slipping away into a land of finish, yans? So go, go, go, go, go warriors. Lebanon's bright future rests on your shoulders. God bless!
