Al-Mustaqbal bloc condemned on Tuesday the Israeli assaults targeting the Palestinians in Gaza, noting that the Syrian regime's “crimes have surpassed those committed by Israel”.

"Israelis have once again demonstrated their criminal and violent nature,” said al-Mustaqbal MPs in a statement released after the bloc's weekly meeting.

"Israel refuses any peaceful solutions and that's what led us to the current situation,” the statement added.

The deputies called for the broadest solidarity movement with the people in Gaza, announcing the launch of an initiative in collaboration with their allies in March 14 in support of the Palestinians so that they can confront the aggression.

“We demand an immediate ceasefire, and we call for opening the borders in front of humanitarian aid sent to Gaza district,” the al-Mustaqbal MPs said.

“We urge the international community to step in and penalize Israel's repeated hostility towards the Palestinians,” they added, explaining that denying Palestinians their rights is a cause that the entire world should fight for.

The bloc also discussed the “Syrian regime's policy of violence and its continuous attacks on the country's cities and villages”, expressing that these activities have surpassed in their magnitude the Israeli aggressions in Gaza.

"The Syrian regime believes it could terminate the opposition through the daily targeting and killing of civilians,” the statement said, praising the formation of the Syrian National Coalition.

"This new step could best reflect the aspirations and expectations of the Syrian people in having a civil, democratic, free and independent country,” the MPs added, calling for providing all kind of support for the newly formed coalition.

Commenting on the issue of illegally imported drugs, the bloc said the investigations are not serious in tracking and penalizing those involved in these crimes, as “no drug stores or depots have been raided and closed down”.

"This scandal reflects the cabinet's attitude and activities of conspiring against people's health,” the MPs said.

Amongst other issues, al-Mustaqbal bloc also discussed “Hizbullah members' attempt to connect telecommunication lines in Beqaata village of the Shouf region”, saying that “the party's activities continue to discard Lebanese laws”.

“Keeping weapons out of the state's control will only contribute to intensify internal crises and problems,” the statement added.

This shows the truth. Syrian "regime' crimes are in their own borders. Israeli crimes are in occupied territory in direct violation of all accepted international law. March 14 endorses Israeli exceptionalism . This is fact. You read the article. The Syrian Regime has the right until it is deposed to resist, Israel has no right to execute defenseless people imprisoned in an open air gulag. You Lebanese, especially you Lebanese who formerly lived under Israeli Occupation and who today live under Israeli Air Power Domination, need to hold those people who give carte blance to Israel accountable. Seriously how much of this can you tolerate? Have you absolutely on semblance of justice, pride or honor.

Very true....Israel is bad, Syria is worse. The Hezz supports Syria and the Palestinians reject ASSad. End of story. This is a big hypocrasy that the Hezz can't run from and it is killing them politically.

March 14, Lebanon First, ya 3alam, ya ho, thank God for you that Syria's crimes had not surpassed Israel's at the hey days of Rafic Syria, Syria's best Rafic and those of Dr. Arreet 7akeh when he was trampolining into the arms of the Syrian occupation while scheming against ebn balado. But that was then, right belated warriors? God bless collective amnesia, my compatriots. I know you agree with me that the crimes (if you don't mind calling them so) of Israel pale in comparison to those of the forces of evil, backwardness, voodoo powers and the Wilayat al-Faqih nonsense. You go, warriors and evil slayers. Peace.
