Charbel Reassures Lebanese over Bulgaria's Hizbullah Allegations

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel reassured the Lebanese on Thursday that accusations by Bulgaria of Hizbullah's involvement in a deadly attack on Israeli tourists last year will not have repercussions on the country.
In remarks to the Kuwaiti al-Seyassah daily, Charbel said the claim that Hizbullah was involved in the bomb attack on a bus in Burgas airport in July 2012 “will not have repercussions on the government and the local scene.”
In other remarks to al-Joumhouria newspaper, Charbel denied that his ministry had received any document from the Bulgarian government concerning its investigation into the bombing that left 5 Israeli tourists and their Bulgarian driver dead.
Three men are suspected in the attack, including the dead bomber.
On Tuesday, an official Bulgarian report said investigators had "well-grounded reasons to suggest" that two of the suspects belonged to Hizbullah.
The report said they had been living in Lebanon for years, one with a Canadian passport and the other with an Australian one.
But Charbel stressed that the international community holds onto stability in Lebanon.
His comment came against the backdrop of increased pressure on the European Union to designate Hizbullah a terrorist organization.
The EU is split on the issue. Adding Hizbullah to the list of terrorist organizations would require a unanimous decision by the foreign ministers of all 27 EU countries.

for those who have any doubts, Bulgaria is no Norway.. they are no better than Lebanon when it comes to transparency.. I do not believe, unless there is evidence!! where is the proof?

As far as I know, "well-grounded reasons to suggest" that Hezbollah has been involved is a reason to continue investigating this track and see if it would yield conclusive evidence of Hezbollah's involvement. So until there is conclusive evidence, we should all withhold judgment. Many of us howl in derision every time Hezbollah accuses Israel without a single shred of evidence for incidents that happen in Lebanon, don't we? We should be consistent and afford Israel the same criticism until evidence is presented.

In the meantime the rat hiding in Dahyé, is shielded by a surrogate government he brought to power one early morning with the help of some black Tshirts dressed up thugs, and good cemtex warehouses, that go off accidentally every now and then in Beirut and elsewhere in Lebanon.

Im pretty sure it was a setup but still hizbshaitan is ruening the reputation of every lebanese national with dual citizenships for wat....power i used to think the resistence was a good party but the involvement in syria and the firing at lebanese was a lil too much i dont like this shiat sunni strife and hope it stops but the thing is its time to get hizba out of lebanon and back to iran
