A 7-month-old boy has escaped unscathed after parts of his bedroom's roof collapsed in southern Lebanon, the state-run National News Agency reported on Tuesday.

The father of Hussein Ali Dbouq said he retrieved him from the rubble at his house in Haret Sour.

Dbouq miraculously survived the incident, his father said.

NNA quoted him as saying that a “divine intervention” saved his boy from death after “parts of the roof collapsed on his bed.”

The agency did not say what caused the collapse.
