Syria-Bound Disarmament Team Lands in Beirut
A team of inspectors charged with overseeing the destruction of Syria's chemical weapons arrived in Beirut on Monday, ahead of their trip to Damascus, an airport source told Agence France Presse.
The group of 20 experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons arrived on a private plane, the stat-run National News Agency said, and is scheduled to travel to Syria on Tuesday.
