Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea met with Progressive Socialist Party head MP Walid Jumblat last week, LBCI television reported on Thursday.
"The meeting took place during a dinner banquet thrown by (National Struggle Front) MP Nehme Tohme,” LBCI said.
The same source noted that the talks were characterized with “ambiguity,” and that they tackled the presidential elections and the cabinet's formation.
"This meeting will be followed by talks between delegations of the two parties on Monday.”
The last meeting between the two leaders took place in 2009, after Jumblat left the March 14 camp.
