Israeli Unit Crosses Barbed Wire Fence near Rmeish
An Israeli unit crossed on Tuesday the technical border fence in the Wadi al-Qatmoun region near the southern town of Rmeish.
The unit, consisting of three Merkava tanks, carried out patrol in the area.
Meanwhile, a joint force of the Lebanese army and United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon monitored the unit's activity.
Last week, Israeli troops dug a dirt road between the Israeli border and the technical fences in the Wadi al-Qatmoun region.
It also carried out maintenance operations to surveillance positions in the area.
