Four rockets hit the Bekaa region of Hermel on Friday causing no casualties, the state-run National News Agency reported.
"Three rockets launched from the eastern mountain belt landed in several areas in Hermel,” the NNA said.
Earlier, the same source noted that a rocket that was fired from Mashari al-Qaa heights fell on the road leading to al-Kweikh village on the al-Qasr-Hermel highway.
"Only material damage was reported,” it said.
Syrian rebel fighters have claimed responsibility for firing many of the numerous rockets that have recently landed in Hermel.
President Michel Suleiman has repeatedly called for “adopting all necessary procedures to protect citizens and Lebanese towns and prevent any attack against them.”
