One person was wounded on Tuesday as a Syrian military helicopter fired missiles at an area in the outskirts of the Bekaa border town of Arsal.
“Mohammed Ali al-Hujairi was wounded when four missiles hit the al-Raayan area in Arsal's outskirts,” LBCI television reported.
Meanwhile, Lebanon's National News Agency said “a Syrian helicopter waged a strike on the Wadi Ajram area in Arsal's outskirts.”
Four missiles were fired at “a convoy of cars carrying gunmen,” NNA said.
The raid was the latest in a string of cross-border strikes against Arsal. On January 17, shells rained down on the town, killing eight people, including five children.
A December air raid prompted the Lebanese Army to fire back with anti-aircraft guns.
Earlier on Tuesday, five rockets struck several Bekaa towns, causing no casualties. Al-Manar television said the rockets were fired from Arsal's outskirts.
