The Internal Security Forces announced on Thursday the arrest of the Bekaa region of Brital's most wanted drugs smuggler.
It said that Lebanese national, A.Y., was arrested with over 400 warrants against him.
He is wanted for drugs smuggling, the possession of arms, theft, and opening fire with a weapon.
He is known for smuggling the drug simo.
The Anti-Drug Bureau in the Bekaa arrested the suspect in Brital after some of its undercover agents led him to believe that they were seeking to purchase a stolen vehicle in his possession.
The army announced on Wednesday the arrest of 14 suspects, including six Syrians, on drug-related charges.
They were detained during a raid in the north Metn town of Sabtieh in Tuesday.
It seized weapons, ammunition, hand grenades, cash, military gear, fake IDs, communications equipment, and drugs in their possession.
