After longstanding negotiations, the deal is done — and we bet Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki are very happy. The three stars are set to earn about $1 million per episode, and can make over $90 million each through their new contract!
The three stars have reportedly agreed to three more seasons, and apparently, they’re worth the money. The cast members make $350,000 per episode and have been negotiating with Warner Bros TV to up their salaries — and they were successful, closing in on a deal that triples their current episodic paychecks.
With the sitcom being renewed for Seasons 8, 9 and 10, Kaley, Johnny and Jim could earn upwards of $90 million dollars each for the 72 episodes they’re slated to film, under the new deal.
Deadline also reports that there could be more: “The door has been left open to a potential 11th season.”
What could be better news than money in the bank? New episodes…coming soon!
With the cast undergoing negotiations, production was at a standstill, but the site reports that the August 6th Season 8 shooting start date looks promising.
The Big Bang Theory was renewed for three season back in March 2014.
