Army Forces Gunmen to Retreat after Trying to Sneak into Arsal

The army forced on Sunday evening armed men, that tried to sneak into Arsal, to retreat to other outskirts.

According to the National News Agency: “The army troop in Talat al-Hosn shot towards an armed group, that was trying to sneak into Arsal,” and forced these forces “to retreat to the eastern outskirts.”

The outskirts of the Bekaa border town of Brital on Wednesday witnessed an exchange of gunfire between Syrian gunmen and Hizbullah fighters.

Previously, Hizbullah repulsed on the fifth of October an attack by al-Nusra Front on ten of its positions and they didn't lose any of their positions, but Ain Saat for more than an hour.

Hizbullah managed to thwart the attack on its other positions. Eight of its fighters were killed, while al-Nusra Front stated that it attacked a position and killed eleven fighters of Hizbullah.

While, in the outskirts of Arsal extremists kidnapped in the second of August 35 soldiers after an attack on the town and killed 19 military.
