Prime Minister Tammam Salam is expected to travel to the United Arab Emirates on Monday to continue a tour he kicked off recently to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
A ministerial source described in comments published in al-Liwaa newspaper on Tuesday the ties between Lebanon and UAE as “strong.”
The source revealed that the two-day visit will kick off in Abu Dhabi where he will meet with the Lebanese expats.
Salam will also meet in Dubai his counterpart and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum.
The PM had visited recently Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.
The latest visit was to Doha where Salam headed a delegation to tackle the abduction of the soldiers and policemen from the northeastern border town of Arsal in August.
