Baalbek Infant Wounded after being Caught in Crossfire
An 18-month-old baby was injured from a bullet during a gunfight in the eastern district of Baalbek, the state-run National News Agency reported Thursday.
Qassem Mohammed Zoaiter was wounded in the head when his parents' vehicle was caught in the crossfire in the town of al-Hamoudiyeh, NNA said.
Wanted suspects were exchanging fire when the incident took place, the agency added.
NNA did not specify how severe the infant's injuries were.
