A military expert defused on Thursday a bomb found near the residence of a Resistance Brigades member in the Taamir Ain el-Hilweh neighborhood on the outskirts of the southern city of Sidon.
The state-run National News Agency said the bomb was defused after a boy informed the army about its presence near the house of Taher al-Masri.
The bomb was set to explode, it said.
NNA stated that the army intelligence arrested al-Masri for questioning. He is the brother of Mohammed Hussein al-Masri who is in charge of the Resistance Brigades in Taamir.
