Bayern Munich's chances of having Arjen Robben back for their key clash with Dortmund suffered an injury set back on Friday, just 24 hours after he returned to training following groin surgery.
Having only rejoined the squad on Thursday, the 27-year-old quit training early on Friday, complaining of pain in the pubic bone and groin area, which was the reason for his recent operation, reported German magazine Kicker.
Robben went under the knife in October to repair the troublesome injury and only returned to training after the club issued a statement on Wednesday saying he was 'right on schedule' before this latest set-back.
Bayern are already missing Germany star Bastian Schweinsteiger, who has a broken collarbone, and are now likely to also be without Robben for the visit to Munich of defending Bundesliga champions Dortmund on November 19.
Ukraine midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk is serving a three-match ban after being sent off against Augsburg last Sunday.
So far this season, Robben has only played one game over 90 minutes and made four league appearances in total.
