Beirut Design Week has been invited to curate an exhibition of three Lebanese designers at the Downtown Design fair during Dubai Design Week (25-28 October 2016).
The products on display are part of the sustainability program released by MENA Design Research Center in early 2016, and aimed at creating innovative materials for production, using organic and recycled elements.
Exhibitor Tamara Barrage will be showcasing latest lighting solutions and decorative items made from textures that resemble fruits and vegetables.
Muriel Kai will be revealing the first fully developed collection of products from the innovative organic material: Fruit Leather.
Paola Sakr will exhibit the developed version of her earlier prototypes of the collection ‘Morning Ritual’ made from recycled ground coffee beans and paper.
This event is organized by the MENA Design Research Center and sponsored by Dubai Design District.
