The army on Monday raided a number of Syrian refugee encampments and residence places in the outskirts of the Akkar towns of al-Sheikh Mohammed, Halba and Tal Abbas, state-run National News Agency reported.
Thirty Syrians were arrested in the raids on charges of failure to present legal identification and residency papers, NNA said.
They were referred to the relevant judicial authorities.
A number of unlicensed motorcycles were also seized in the crackdown, the agency added.
