Airport Customs Seize 5 Kg of Cocaine, Detain Smuggler
Customs officials at the Rafik Hariri International Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle around five kilograms of cocaine, the National News Agency reported on Monday.
The cocaine was wrapped and hidden inside the bag of a Paraguayan female who had arrived from Brazil on board an Ethiopian Airlines flight at midnight, added NNA.
The suspect, who was identified as Silva Del Rosario Almada, was interrogated and will be referred to the related authorities.
