Report: LF tells al-Rahi its real candidate is army chief
A Lebanese Forces delegation has met with Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi and informed him that its "real" presidential candidate is Army chief General Joseph Aoun, al-Akhbar newspaper reported Saturday.
"He is the only one capable to confront Hezbollah and he has encouraging experiences in this regard," the LF delegation told al-Rahi, according to the daily.
