Young Man, Woman Killed by Gas Leak in Faraya
A young man and woman were killed in Faraya on Saturday after gas leaked in one of the rooms they were staying in, media reports said.
According to MTV, the young man and woman were staying at one of the cabanas at Faraya ski resort.
The Internal Security Forces and forensics arrived swiftly at the scene.
A 17-year-old girl drowned on February 5 in a frozen lake in Kfardebian.
Hiba Rmeid and her brother Ahmed were practicing photography in the area when she fell through the ice on a frozen lake.
Rmeid’s body was eventually recovered by the civil defense rescue team after they successfully broke through the surface of the ice.
