Druze leader Walid Jumblat has offered condolences to Hezbollah in Dahieh over Israel’s killing of the party’s leaders Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.
“This is a grand and sad day in the history of the Islamic and Arab nation,” Jumblat said.
“We support full liberation and the implementation of U.N. resolutions,” he added.
Jumblat did not attend Nasrallah and Safieddine’s massive funeral in Beirut on Sunday but was represented by a delegation from the Progressive Socialist Party.
