Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri hoped there will positive developments after the Lebanese response to was delivered Monday to U.S. envoy Tom Barack.
Asked whether he is “reassured” and “highly optimistic,” Berri added to al-Joumhouria newspaper: “I always do not remove caution from my calculations. Let’s await the outcome of things and I’ve always said that things are to be judged by their outcome.”
Berri said Monday that his talks with Barrack were "good, constructive and very keen on Lebanon's interest and sovereignty, the concerns of all Lebanese, as well as Hezbollah's demands."
