Report: Israel's Dermer leading talks on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria
Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, who is close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is “leading political negotiations on Gaza, Lebanon and Syria with U.S. support,” an Israeli source told the Israel Hayom newspaper on Tuesday.
Dermer is “working on the proposal of a comprehensive deal that includes political aspects for ending the war” in Gaza, the source said.
“The deal that Israel is showing willingness to discuss involves returning all hostages and ending the war,” the source added.
