Report: Israel may launch 'preventive' Hezbollah strike, but not within next month
It is “not unlikely” that Israel might launch a several-day “preemptive operation" against Hezbollah across Lebanon, the Israeli Hayom newspaper has reported.
“The preemptive Israeli operation against Hezbollah is not likely to take place within the next month, unless Hezbollah decides to escalate,” the Israeli daily added.
Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper meanwhile quoted Israeli security sources as saying that “Israeli intelligence has detected the transfer of weapons and new military training by Hezbollah, some with cooperation from the Lebanese Army.”
