Bassil says those in power exposing country to 'major war'
Free Patriotic Movement chief Jebran Bassil has warned that “the country is facing significant challenges and dangers.”
“Those who promised the people reform and sovereignty are not implementing anything, and no one believes them, neither domestically nor internationally,” said Bassil during an annual FPM dinner in Beirut.
He added: “Their policies are exposing the country to a major coming war, because they are not being honest with the foreign forces about their capabilities, nor are they being honest inside the country about their promises.”
“The country will pay the price for their false promises,” Bassil lamented.
