Salam says there's increased US involvement in ceasefire efforts
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has stated that there is "increased American involvement in the efforts to solidify the ceasefire."
Asked about the reported idea of reciprocity in security measures -- an Israeli withdrawal from the south followed by the Lebanese Army taking control of the areas vacated by the occupation -- Salam told the Asas Media news portal that "this idea is on the table but hasn't yet been finalized."
