Top Iran general says 'plan for sustainable security' includes ending war in Lebanon, Gaza

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ali Abdollahi, stated Tuesday that "a powerful Iran has emerged as a fourth pole of power by controlling the Strait of Hormuz as a vital energy artery and determining the rules of access to it."

In a message marking the "National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance," he noted that "the enemy's material and non-material assets are within the crosshairs of the Iranian Armed Forces."

He emphasized that Iran's “plan for sustainable security” includes "ending the war on all fronts, especially in Lebanon and Gaza,” in reference to Tehran’s demands in the current negotiations with the United States.

He added that the demands also include "the complete lifting of sanctions, the release of the Iranian people's frozen funds, and paying compensations for imposed wars.”

Moreover, the plan also includes "recognizing Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, replacing the dilapidated American security umbrella with the Hormuz mechanism, guaranteeing the non-repetition of aggression, and forming self-reliant security arrangements in the West Asia region."
