Security forces have raided a house near the coastal town of Jbeil in the search for the killer of two men whose bodies were found in a rented vehicle on the Tabarja highway, Voice of Lebanon radio (93.3) reported Sunday.
The station said that the policemen raided the home of a man which it identified with his initials as J.K. VDL said however that the suspect hasn’t been found yet.
The victims, who are relatives, have been identified as 41-year-old Talal Fouad Nasser from Baalbek and Hisham Mohammed al-Husseini, 31, from Jbeil.
Nasser had a bullet wound in his head while al-Husseini was found shot in the chest inside the grey Nissan.
The initial investigation estimated the time of death 1:30 am Saturday.
Media reports have said the murder’s motive was financial given that the men have been frequent visitors to Casino du Liban.
