Myriam Klink Plans to Run for Parliament in Mini Skirt

Lebanon's parliamentary elections loom, and for a democratic country similar to Lebanon it has its arms wide open to candidates of various backgrounds even for models.

Myriam Klink, a Lebanese model declared on Sunday on her facebook page Sunday her intention to run for the elections.

Running for the Orthodox seat in Metn, as she announced, Klink urged her supporters to hit the polls, saying “I will wear a mini skirt and go to the parliament,” assuring that she will provide 24/7 electricity in Lebanon in light of the power rationing the country is suffering from.

“I will provide development and electricity from North to South. I will draft a law for the environment and provide for the poor,” said Klink.

“I will fortify the Lebanese army and we will find a way to reach an agreement with (Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan) Nasrallah regarding the weapons. We will fortify the state in order to confront the Israelis. I will rule this country and make it a heaven on earth,” she added.

The model addressed Lebanese women, urging them to take action and claim their rights. “Vote for me,” she said, adding “vote for a new life. Vote for the future.”

Moreover, Klink urged the Lebanese not to be fooled by fake promises made by some wanna-be MPs “who forget the vows they make as soon as they hit the parliament seat.”

Don't waste your time, Its time to save Lebanon.”
