At least 10 people died in southeastern Brazil when a driver at the wheel of a tourist bus lost control of the vehicle, local media reported Saturday.
The crash late Friday in eastern Minas Gerais also left several people injured, according to news reports.
Rescue officials said the bus was carrying 42 church members to a religious gathering at the time of the crash.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has placed Brazil fifth on a list of countries with the most road accidents.
The top four places are occupied by India, China, Russia and the United States, the international group said.
