The region of Wadi Khaled in the Bekaa came under shelling from the Syrian side of the border at dawn on Thursday, reported the National News Agency.
It said that several houses were damaged in the attack.
No one was injured in the assault, but major damage was reported in agricultural crops.
Rockets fired from Syria by rebels or regime troops have repeatedly landed in the eastern and northeastern Bekaa regions.
The latest attack took place over the weekend when rebels fired rockets at the Bekaa's Hermel region, which is a Hizbullah stronghold.
The “Marwan Hadid Brigades” claimed responsibility on Tuesday for the attack.
President Michel Suleiman expressed on Monday his “grave concern” with the shelling, tasking the Army Command with “determining the location from where they were fired in order to tackle the situation with the appropriate means.”
The repeated violations prompted him in June to file a memorandum to the United Nations and Arab League.
