State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr ordered on Friday the arrest of 6 suspects, including Syrians, over separate rocket attacks on Israel and the town of Yarze, near Beirut.
Saqr arrested two men for firing rockets on northern Israel from southern Lebanon last Thursday.
The attack prompted Israeli warplanes the next day to strike a Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) base in a valley in Naameh that lies 16 kilometers south of Beirut. The strike did not cause any casualties or material damage.
The PFLP-GC denied it was involved in the rocket attack.
Also Friday, the judge ordered the arrest of four Syrians from the so-called Ballouneh cell that was involved in a failed rocket attack on Yarze in June.
The rocket was fired in the early hours of June 21.
Reports had said that they intended to target the Defense Ministry in Yarze. But one rocket hit a high-voltage power line in a nearby town and a second rocket failed to launch.
The launchpads were found in the Kesrouan town of Ballouneh.
