Hizbullah Captive Voices Surprise over Lack of Efforts to Free Him

Hizbullah captive fighter Imad Ayyad, who is being held by the Free Syrian Army, has addressed a second video message to his father, in which he expresses surprise over “lack of efforts” to secure his release and stresses the need to communicate with Hizbullah officials.

“I'm doing well and I'm being treated in a very good manner,” Ayyad says in the YouTube video.

“I'm filming this video for you in order to convey a message that no one has negotiated over me until the moment,” the captive fighter added, addressing his father.

He had first appeared in a picture published on October 8 on social networking websites, in the wake of fierce clashes between Hizbullah and militants from the FSA, al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State on the Lebanese-Syrian border.

“Pass on this video to the officials through my my friends and put them in the picture. Until the moment, no one has talked to the group (FSA),” Ayyad added.

“I was wounded and I contacted them but they did not come to my rescue … How could they leave us in such a situation?” the captive said.

Apparently speaking from a cave in the border region, Ayyad urged his father to do everything possible to secure his release.

“The people here do not want to harm me and they want me to return to you safe and sound. They are treating me well and I'm not being pressured (to say this),” Ayyad went on to say.

The captive fighter had appeared in a previous video on October 9, in which he urged his family to act.

According to websites close to Hizbullah, the father told individuals who telephoned him regarding his son that Imad was “martyred”, before ending the call abruptly.

you should have thought about it earlier before you went on your sectarian jihadi mission(:

"the sectarian jihadi mission" is what is keeping everyone in this country safe and preventing the takfiri psychopaths from invading.

You beat me to it mowaten. I was thinking the same thing, exactly the same! We are so so similar: we are both narcissists, both shia extremists who pretend to be moderates, both have an inferiority complex, both pretend to be secular, and both have multiple accounts. I just hope readers don't think we are the same poster.

Imad sweetheart you'll have to wait while hassan is busy pretending to visit his fighter in qalamoun and banging his chest and screaming his victory scream!
NB: In the picture you do look very surprised.

I have no sympathy for him whatsoever! He went there willingly and knew the consequences.

Thumb _mowaten_ 22 October 2014, 10:31

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Thank you.

Thumb LEBhasNOhope 22 October 2014, 19:31

I don't believe it is considered flattery when used to prove hypocrisy. But whatever floats your boat.

So what tough guy you want him to be killed?

Thumb lubnani.masi7i 21 October 2014, 22:26

Nasrallah said he negotiates and has negotiated with Nusra and ISIS. Perhaps the news has not reached portugal yet. But, he did say it.

Thumb lubnani.masi7i 21 October 2014, 22:36

Spot on!!!!! How could HA explain to their followers and to the Lebanese why they got their own prisoner released through direct negotiations while they object and torpedo the government's efforts to negotiate with Nusra. This is more than ample proof to show who the real party is behind the delay. HA wishes to see the soldiers executed..

Thumb Kalzyturks 22 October 2014, 01:23

Exactly that, how else to get the whole country and army to get behindbeing HA.

Remember the cars being detonated and Al Manar surprisingly captured the pictures live.

How else to get the army in numbers in the south to protect them from the invisible ghost.

All black flag operations to get the politicians the masses and security forces army intelligents police behind their fabrication

Thumb Kalzyturks 22 October 2014, 01:30

Kill a few control the masses.

HA is smart but the rest are either scared to confront HA, or taking advantage and making political gains through HA or gullible or willing to stand up to Iranian influence.
