U.S. Army Says Preparing to 'Move Out' of Iraq

The U.S. military informed its counterparts in Baghdad on Monday it was preparing for "movement out of Iraq," a day after the Iraqi parliament urged the government oust foreign troops.

The head of the U.S. military's Task Force Iraq, Brigadier General William Seely, sent a letter to the head of Iraq's joint operations command, a copy of which was seen by AFP.

The letter said troops would "be repositioning forces over the course of the coming days and weeks to prepare for onward movement."

A U.S. defense official and an Iraqi defense official confirmed the letter was real and had been delivered.

Iraqi Shiite leaders are the same mix of Lebanese Duo Shiite leaders subservient to Iran. The youth in Shiite southern Iraq are the ones demanding the end to Iranian influence and the misery and extremism they have created, included ISIS that started as a reaction to the Iraqi Basij. The US military has nothing to lose by leaving Iraq, but the sanctions it will implement will bring soon a more effective uprising and more virulent attack on all Iranian interest and puppets by all united Iraqi youth who want a culture of life, progress and peace instead of the poisonous Iranian culture of death, oppression and indoctrination.

The letter was apparently “a mistake”:
