Israel says struck thousands of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, Syria during Gaza war
Israel has attacked more than 50 Hezbollah targets in Syria and 3,400 in Lebanon since the war with Hamas in Gaza began in October, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said.
"Since the beginning of the war, we have attacked, from the ground and air, more than 50 such targets of Hezbollah spread throughout Syria," Hagari told reporters, adding that more than 3,400 similar strikes against the group had been carried out in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah has for years been fighting on the side of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in his country's war, and is an ally of Palestinian Islamist group Hamas.
Israel rarely comments on individual strikes targeting Syria, but it has repeatedly said it will not allow arch-foe Iran, which backs Assad, to expand its presence there.
Since the outbreak of war between Hamas and Israel on October 7, the Lebanese-Israeli border has witnessed near-daily exchanges of fire, mainly between the Israeli army and Hezbollah.
At least 218 people have been killed in Lebanon, mostly Hezbollah fighters but also at least 26 civilians, according to an AFP tally.
Hagari on Saturday said more than 200 "terrorists and commanders" had been killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
In northern Israel, nine Israeli soldiers and six civilians have been killed since the war in Gaza began, Israeli officials have said.

I feel for you guys who wants to believe in huge hidden numbers of casualties (deaths in this case) among Israeli soldiers. However, as time goes by I think that it would be extremely difficult to hide a large number of casualties in a relatively open society with a large degree of freedom of speech. They de not seem to hide the number of IDF-soldiers in Gaza, so why should they in Lebanon? And wouldnt it be against presumption that Israel would hide their numbers, while Hezbollah did not? OK, its time to attack me again with accusations of being an Israeli, agent for the Israelis bla, bla... I am 100% for a peaceful, independent Lebanese state which I am part of. I also support 100% a peaceful. demilitarized Palestinian state on the West Bank and Gaza, but I am not willing to put my Lebanon on the line to achieve the latter.
You certainly are easy to amuse, doodle-dude, but deep down both of us know it. Its painful to see this ranking of democracy that shows Israel ranked at 29th place, og no arab countries (except Marocco and Algeria at 85th and 95th respectively) ranked above 100th place. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist_Democracy_Index

first, wikipedia is zionist inspired resource. Second, I don't think anybody disagrees about democracy in the Arab World. But, do you really think there is democracy in Israel or in the USA for that matter? Is there freedom of speech on Facebook? Have you ever lived in a Western society? It is all fake and they define democracy the way they want. If you say Israel is aggressive you are immediately canceled and classified as antisemitic! But, you can accuse Arabs of anything you want or anything you like without a shred of evidence, and nobody bets an eye. These are not democracies but rather sugar coated dictatorships.
Look at this Zionist shill, he admires the Israeli “democracy” and its most “ethical army in the world”. This is first class foolishness نخب أول
