Moussawi: We are Committed to Miqati in Forming Government

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Nawwaf al-Moussawi stressed on Sunday that the new majority will continue its efforts to overcome the obstacles in the government formation until it is finally established.

He said: “We realize that some sides are counting on the prime minister-designate to resign in order for them to retry past governmental experiences.”

“We are committed to Premier-designate Najib Miqati,” he added.

“We introduced governmental change along with the rest of the brave parliamentary blocs … and we are determined to complete the process until we reach our goal,” Moussawi said.

“We overcame a number of obstacles that inevitably arise when a majority is formed during a very short period of time,” he continued.

“Those keen on the country’s safety were better off supporting the Resistance than finding ways to break it down after they had broken down the state,” the MP noted.
