جنبلاط "يتجنب" الاعلان عن تحالفاته في الانتخابات المقبلة

لم يؤكد رئيس "الحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي" وليد جنبلاط، كما انه لم ينفِ امكانية خوضه الانتخابات النيابية الى جانب "تيار المستقبل"، مشدداً على ان "الهم الأساسي اليوم هو الحوار الداخلي".
وفي حديث الى صحيفة "السفير" عن اللقاء الذي جمعه برئيس تيار "المستقبل" سعد الحريري الثلاثاء، في فرنسا، قال ان اللقاء كان "وديا وصريحا ومهما وقد اتفقنا على بعض الافكار، وهناك افكار اخرى تحتاج الى المزيد من النقاش والمتابعة".
واكد اتفاقه والحريري على موقف موحد من مشروع قانون "اللقاء الاورثوذكسي" (حيث كل طائفة تنتخب ممثليها)، مضيفاً "رأينا انه يطعن في الميثاق الوطني".
الى ذلك، سئل جنبلاط عن تحالفاته الانتخابية المقبلة، ومدى امكانية خوضه الانتخابات الى جانب الحريري، فتفادى رئيس "الحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي" الاجابة، مشيراً الى ان "الهم الأساسي اليوم هو الحوار الداخلي والانتخابات ليست سوى مرحلة عابرة".
وكان المكتب الاعلامي للحريري قد اصدر بياناً الثلاثاء، اثر اللقاء، اعلن انه "جرى تأكيد ضرورة الحفاظ على دستور الطائف وصيغة العيش المشترك في لبنان، بما يوفرانه من حماية للوحدة الوطنية والاستقرار في مواجهة هذه التحديات".
واوضاف انه "جرى عرض مختلف مشاريع قوانين الانتخابات المطروحة ومواقف الأطراف كافة منها، وقد تم الاتفاق على مواصلة التشاور في هذا الشأن بما يخدم مصلحة لبنان واللبنانيين".

It is amazing how some people have colored glasses. To describe the Mustaqbal to be wahhabist is dishonest. As for the criminal accusation, how many have been convicted in court of crimes or to that matter charged with crimes? On the other hand four senior members of the hizb are charged with the killing of former PM hariri.

This describes one of Lebanon's main problems perfectly. Jumblat said "The elections are just a passing phase." What he means is that the people's vote is irrelevent. The election is a charade in this country. The country is run by leaders of religious identities who could care less what the "majority" of Lebanese want.
